After using it, you will find vslogs. BTW, when you meet installation failed, please check if your ISO checksum meet the download page or try web-installer. I encountered the same issue today, I have created the vslogs. I do not have Office installed on this machine, so I could imagine that being the cause of the error - however, if that is the case, I would have expected a warning, not an error. Please let me know if there is anything of interest in the vslogs. I have the same problem as well.
I don't recall if this message was thrown during the original installation. Here is the link to my vslog. This completed with the message of the subject here. Tuesday, December 4, AM. Sorry, but that I don't understand. The original issue can very well be exactly the same as I experience. The original issue was posted less than a week ago. The VS SP1 has just been published, thus the error may be related to that. I posted my log file as a contribution to have the issue solved. I have installed VS several times on the same machine without having this error.

Those hints change the light of course, but what could I know.
